SAN FRANCISCO – September 15, 2016 – Today, Qardio, the award-winning digital health company announced the availability of Apple Pay on the Web for both its mobile and desktop website, www.qardio.com. This new feature will provide customers with a new secure, convenient and private way to pay online.
Customers looking to make a purchase on the iPhone or iPad will have to authenticate and confirm the purchase using Touch ID via their device. When a purchase is made on a Mac, the customer can also authenticate and confirm the purchase using Touch ID on their iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch.
Already, Qardio customers have been able to use Apple Pay for purchases within the Qardio App for iOS. Now users will have the flexibility to visit the company’s website using Safari to check out using Apple Pay without the need to manually fill in payment or shipping information, creating a seamless shopping experience.
Supported iOS devices include: iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 7, iPad mini 3 and iPad mini 4, iPad Air 2, and all versions of the iPad Pro. Apple Pay on the Web for Mac requires Mac OS Sierra and Safari.
Apple Pay is currently available in a select number of countries, including: USA, Canada, UK, France, Switzerland, Hong Kong.
